Bike Adventure in Upper Mustang – Explore the Remote Kingdom of Lo

The Kingdom of Lo, nestled in the Mustang region of Nepal, is one of the most remote and culturally rich areas in the Himalayas. Known for preserving one of the last authentic Tibetan cultures on Earth, this isolated region welcomes only a limited number of permit holders each year, making it a truly exclusive adventure destination.

Surrounded by the towering Himalayan giants Annapurna and Dhaulagiri, Mustang’s rugged terrain resembles a moonscape filled with ancient walled monasteries, vast windy plains, and timeless towns frozen in history. The ancient temple of Lo Gekhar still stands proudly, symbolizing the region’s deep-rooted Tibetan heritage — a cultural experience you won’t find anywhere else.

This biking trip offers a unique perspective on Upper Mustang, allowing you to explore hidden side valleys and challenging routes beyond the main trekking trails. Ride through stunning landscapes, discover secluded villages, and immerse yourself in the serene beauty of this extraordinary Himalayan base camp region.

For those looking to extend their adventure, this bike tour can be combined with the Annapurna Circuit trek or bike tour, providing a comprehensive exploration of Nepal’s famed trekking and biking trails.
