- Adrenaline-Packed Rapids:

The valley is remote, pristine, and largely untouched by modern development. Its wooded slopes, peaceful campsites, and vibrant wildlife make for a truly immersive wilderness experience. - ️ Authentic Camping Experience:
Each riverside campsite is carefully chosen for its beauty and tranquility. Evening yoga, meditation, and wellness sessions offer relaxation after a day of paddling. - Wellness on the River:
Our expeditions blend adventure with self-care. Enjoy gentle morning yoga, stretching, and riverside meditation to connect with nature and reset your body. - Local Culture & Cuisine:
The region is a rich mosaic of 27+ languages and dialects, home to diverse ethnic groups rarely seen by Western travelers. Our guides, who double as chefs, serve delicious local and continental meals cooked fresh at camp.
The Journey – Trek & Raft Combo
The adventure typically begins with a trek from Basantapur, a scenic route through forests, ridges, and traditional villages. A highlight is an overnight stay at Gupha Pokhari (2,880m), a sacred lake known for its serene beauty. Taste local Tumba (millet wine) and enjoy views of the eastern Himalayas before descending to Dhovan, the usual rafting put-in.
✈️ Note: While Taplejung airstrip is an alternative, flights are infrequent and weather-dependent. We highly recommend the trek as it enhances the expedition’s authenticity and connection to the landscape.
