This intensive course combines kayak roll training, day paddling techniques, and on-river instruction, quickly preparing you to navigate fun Class II rapids. Our clinics include multi-day kayaking sessions on Class I to Class III rivers with tented camping and oar raft support trips.

Intro to Creek Running

Our most advanced class is aimed at paddlers stepping up to Class IV runs. It focuses on technical maneuvers, paddle strokes, scouting, and running more difficult rapids in a safe, low-consequence environment. To enroll, participants must demonstrate rolling in moving water, wet exits, eddy peeling, and comfortable paddling in Class III whitewater.

Intro to Self-Support Kayaking

For intermediate paddlers preparing for their first self-support overnight trip, this course teaches kayak packing, organizing for multi-day river expeditions, and team logistics. River time includes 1-2 nights on Class II/III rivers with supplied food and group essentials. Participants bring personal camping gear such as sleeping bags and mats.
