Mera Peak Climbing is the highest permitted trekking peak in Nepal. It stands at 6,476 meters in the remote Hinku and Hongu valleys. This majestic peak lies just south of Mt. Everest. The landscape features pristine alpine lakes and dense rhododendron forests. Glaciated valleys surround the route. Therefore, Mera Peak Climbing offers a true wilderness adventure. This climb provides both physical challenge and deep immersion in nature. Proper acclimatization remains crucial throughout the ascent. On a clear day, the summit rewards you with sweeping views of five of the world’s highest mountains: Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu and Kangchenjunga.

Mera Peak Climbing suits trekkers with basic mountaineering experience. It perfectly blends trekking and high-altitude climbing. As a result, it serves as an excellent first Himalayan summit for many adventurers.

The journey begins with a thrilling mountain flight to Lukla. From there, you start a 6-day approach trek. The trail winds through dense rhododendron, oak and birch forests.

You gradually gain elevation while allowing time for acclimatization. Along the way, you camp near glacial streams and alpine lakes. The scenery becomes increasingly wild and beautiful each day.

Mera Peak Climbing is non-technical but physically demanding. It requires crampons, ropes and basic climbing gear. Our itinerary includes sufficient acclimatization days and technical briefings.

The summit delivers stunning 360-degree panoramic views. You can see Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Kanchenjunga and Cho Oyu from the top. This moment creates an unforgettable Himalayan experience.
