Your Safety

Your safety is our 1st concern

Rafting has been plagued by the myth that it is dangerous, extreme, and only for adrenaline junkies. Rafting is our profession, so we take it seriously, we are serious about safety, about good food, good times, and serious about fun. We offer trips to suit all ages and abilities it’s not about fitness, it’s about fun and passion. Our youngest client to date was 5 years old, and our most mature clients were 70 to 80 years old, who did a ten days Karnali trip (they want to wet from the Himalayan river).

Your safety is our 1st priority on and off the river. Without exception, we believe in safety kayakers on all trips. In addition, on our more challenging expeditions, we provide a safety cataraft. Our biggest safety is our professional guides who had world-class certifications, you will appreciate the difference that they offer on the trips.

We have a comprehensive first aid kit and all guides are trained in Wilderness First Aid. We also carry appropriate communication devices on all our trips and we follow the government rules and regulations. Safety includes hygienically prepared food, personal hygiene, toilet set, and kitchen as well as water filters to provide you with clean water on your expedition.

We continue learning and keep our safety record, we offer river seminars and practice risk management each and every year and adapt new skills from the rives community, and trained ourselves accordingly.

From the moment you call or email our office in Kathmandu Nepal until you get home safely after your trip, you will be assured by our knowledge of the adventure travel industry. Our office staff will be able to answer all your questions, whether it be about visas, flight, and other safety issues. Our river crews have a level of experience that is unmatched in the white water industry. They will navigate you safely down the Himalayan River, and stories from their years exploring the world.
